Key West Cocks Book

From a young age my wife Stephanie has always been fascinated by Cocks. Never understanding this fascination or what drew her to them we decided to put this book together to help understand the fascination. Was it the different sizes or vibrant colors that drew her to them. Was it the sounds or the attitude that they represent.

In our twenty year relationship she has always wanted to bring them home. It was also very difficult because she wanted to have the biggest Cock in the neighborhood. Well finally we found Key West. Cocks were able to roam free in their natural habitat. These colorful animals were brought over by the Cubans in the 1800’s mainly for food but also for Cock fighting which was outlawed in the early 70’s. Now they can enter and exit buildings and people's property without any recourse. They have become part of the island’s culture. We have made several trips to Key West to try and capture the beauty and splendor of the Key West Cock in their natural habitat in the pages of this book. So please enjoy our collection of Cocks because it is all about the Cocks of Key West.
